coyote ugly

so that's what 'coyote ugly' is. 12 girls competing to get a job at the bar. their job is to impress the people in the bar so when the girl's number is called, they get the most shouting from everyone. a popularity contest, basically. the girls with the least amount of people yelling for them get eliminated. and the number of girls dwindles from 12 to 10 to 7 to 5, etc. so.... what exactly does this require the girls to do?

not only did those girls dance and grind against each other and have to do several jello shots and lick whip cream off of guys' bald heads and have whip cream licked off of their bellies etc etc for SEVERAL HOURS... but beyond that they had to get molested by almost every guy in the club. basically these contestants would dance around the club and wait for guys to come dance with them, grind up against them, feel them up, spank them and practically dry hump them for 8+ HOURS.

now as the night goes on and the guys have more alchohol in them, they start getting ruder and shouting sexist crap at them and insulting them etc. so these girls are basically rag dolls getting fondled by rude drunks for several hours under the impression this will help them win so they can work there. and only one of the 12 wins. i give them a lot of credit for putting up with all they did, and it was sad to see the losers leave with nothing after being molestated for hours.

i wonder.... what does a girl do when she gets home after pretending that every guy in the club is her boyfriend.... hugging, grinding, dry humping, licking.... does she take a brillo pad into the shower? does she cry because she feels used? or does she just curl up in her PJs by the TV with a bowl of popcorn and watch a movie like it was any another day? these are the things i think about.

i actually did have a good time, and the bachelor's party was deemed a success. i'm a sucker for a party so i danced and watched the bachelor get whipped with a belt and i actually talked with the girls, saying things like "congratulations on making it to the round", "you're an incredible dancer", "you must be getting pretty tired by now".... you know, treating them like human beings (a strange concept). i figure i'd actually engage them in some real conversation since the rest of the guys in the bar had already covered the 'important stuff', like "nice t*ts!!" and "dance for me b*tch!!" *rolls eyes*

ps - i was there in my black celldweller spider T ;)

when you thought you've seen everything

just when you thought you'd seen it all, they start selling "lesbian waffles"...

http://www.funreports.com/2004/09/20/56180.html

Waffles propagandizing lesbian love appeared in food stores of Ekaterinburg, the Ural region of Russia. The packaging of Artek waffles depicts two little girls hugging each other. The girls are of different skin color - to all appearance, the designer wished to express the children's internationalism in his work (Artek is an international summer camp for children in Ukraine's Crimea).

"One girl put her arm around the other girl - she is holding the girl's hand, trying to kiss her on a cheek. The other girl does not seem to have anything against such a gesture: she is keeping her eyes wide open, she is smiling back and blushing," a local newspaper wrote.

Ekaterinburg's residents do not suspect the designer and the waffle maker of having any guileful intentions to corrupt the young generation. The "lesbian" waffles cost seven rubles (one dollar is about 30 rubles) for a pack, they are rather delicious and enjoy great popularity among the local population. However, Ekaterinburg has the reputation of a homophobian city - the local committee for youth promised to look into the matter.

LJ is f*cking with me again

this will probably be the third time this story gets posted. i hope i can delete these posts somehow. but the other two times i updated it said i succeeded but the sh*t wasn't there. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!

--

the following reads like a damn soap opera........

last time my metal band played club liquid, it was a disaster. the drummer must've been on another planet. he started the first song wrong. in the middle of the third song, he started playing the wrong song and we screeched to a halt. and we got jipped on our on-stage time, so we only got to play 3 1/2 songs total.

so last night i was thinking, "tonight has GOT to go better than the last time at club liquid". man, was i wrong.

......

my rock band was also playing the gig last night, and then my metal band was lined up to play right afterwards. so i'm sitting at the drum set getting hollered at because my rock band hasn't started playing yet (even though they bumped our time slot ahead without telling us and the reason it was taking so long for us to get playing was the sound guys' fault not ours, but anyyyywayyyyy....)

then i see the concert organizer come up to the stage and start talking about my metal band. yeah..... uh-oh.

she tells me that my metal band was kicked out of the club for vandalizing the bathroom and won't be allowed to play. apparently the singer was putting on his face makeup, there were no paper towels, so he (stupidly) wiped his hands on the bathroom stall door and left. the bass player was still in the bathroom doing his face paint when the manager of the club walked in. the manager looked at the face paint on the stall door and accused the bass player of doing it.

the bass player copped a 'tude with the manager saying it wasn't him, some heated words were exchanged, they got the singer, he admitted to it and offered to clean it up but by then tempers were too high and the band got kicked out.

so there i am ... sitting at the drum set now getting hollered at for crap that's not my fault while being informed that my other band is kicked out by the management. then, as i go into the first song, i watch my other band's gear leaving the building.

YEAH.... I MIGHT HAVE BEEN A LITTLE F*$&!${@%$*&@$#@*ING DISTRACTED!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*strangles a defenseless pillow and rips the stuffing out of it, then eats the stuffing and puts the empty pillow shell over his head hoping to suffocate to death*

welcome to today's issue of "point and laugh", where we expose companies and their stupidity. in today's installment, let's all point and laugh at...... Micro$oft!

Microsoft has also managed to upset women and entire countries. A Spanish- language version of Windows XP, destined for Latin American markets, asked users to select their gender between "not specified," "male" or "bitch," because of an unfortunate error in translation.

rule #1 if you're gonna cancel plans just so you can get laid, just tell me first. that way, i don't have to pretend i'm not upset when i figure it out.

rule #2 always read your mail before anyone else.

rule #3 never let anyone talk bad about the club in front of the bartender and show promoter, no matter how much they don't like it, unless you never want to play there again or open for the band that invited you there ever again ...

rule #4 if you can't pick a major and stick with it, chances are you're wasting your time .... and a lot of peoples' money.

rule #5 feed me raw cookie dough and i'm your slave.
